2011 is almost over but I didn’t want let it go without tell wish you all Happy New Year! I hope it comes full of happiness, love, health and succeed to you all.
This year was memorable for me because I have closed the longest stage of my life and the New Year means a new beginning. Thanks 2011 for everything you gave me, I knew awesome people, I keep the best friends ever and a lovely little person comes to my family. I couldn’t be more thankful.
I am also specially thankful with all my blog readers that have followed Aventura chic for these 2 years, you and the great vibe you always convey me is the best inspiration to continue sharing the best of me with you all.

Casi termina el 2011 pero no quería dejarlo ir sin antes desearles un Feliz 2012. Espero que venga cargado de felicidad, amor, salud y éxitos para todos.
Para mi el 2011 es un año memorable, pues cerré el capítulo mas largo de mi vida y este cambio de año es un nuevo comienzo. Gracias 2011 por todo lo que me diste, pues conocí a gente maravillosa, sigo teniendo a los amigos increíbles de siempre y llego a mi familia una la personita que nos cambió las vidas. Creo que no podría estar mas agradecida. Lo sé soy de lo peor, esto fue demasiado, creo que nunca he pasado tantos días sin postear. En serio lo siento, pero tuve demasiadas cosas encina y como cualquier ser humano necesitaba un descanso para volver recargada y llena de Buena vibra. Como ustedes saben estaba en NYC pero recién volvía Lima, aun algo confundida entre personas, ciudades y clima pues vengo llena de cosas de invierno al verano Limeño. Pero no piensen que eso es malo pues tengo miles de cosas pendientes por mostrarles, más outfits, fotos de street style, nuevas compras y mucho más!
Se pueden imaginar como traje todas esas cosas en solo 3 maletas?

Hace dos años me enteré que Gastón Acurio abriría un La Mar en NYC y lo esperaba con ansias, pues cada vez que hablaba de la deliciosa comida peruana no tenía ningún restauran cercano que pudiera recomendar. Finalmente en Setiembre, después de la larga espera La Mar Abrió sus puertas en Manhattan y no pudo encontrar mejor ubicación que en Madison Square Park, súper céntrico y de fácil acceso.

El día elegido para mi reencuentro con el menú de La Mar fue este Domingo, y debo decirles que no dejé disfrutar ni un segundo de los belicosos platos y bebidas.

Last Saturday I spent all the day walking to take street style pictures, I just realized I had been walking for 7 hours when my memory card was full. Obviously, I was very tired but so glad to know I had taken millions of pictures that I will show you next days. Today I officially begin the fall street style with a Saturday morning in Washington Square.

Recuerdo perfectamente como hace unos meses todo el mundo se reía de mi porque siempre terminaba cansada después de alguna caminata. Hoy estoy orgullosa de contarles que he desarrollado mis habilidades de camínate e incluso camino mas que aquellos que se burlaban de mi. Con decirles que el sábado pasado salí a hacer otos de street style y cuando me dí cuenta habían pasado más de 6 horas! Pero yo terminé más que feliz con todas las imágenes que conseguí.

Hoy inicio la temporada de street style de Otoño mostrándoles un sábado por la mañana en Washington Square.

Fue inevitable pasar por alto el look de este chico en el Meat Parking District, parecía estar esperando The Sartorialist, pues se pasó al menos un par de horas sentado en el mismo lugar tiempo suficiente capturar esta imágenes.

Tip: Ante todo su actitud, luego los detalles de tirantes que llegan hasta los brazos y corbata de lado.

In fact, after long walks with camera in hand I have millions of images that show you.
This outfit is quite simple, I just wanted to be warm and comfortable, as you imagine I’m not used to wear so many clothes, so I just thought about match these colors that I love.

Debo admitir que el ultimo mes he estado algo ausente de la blogosfera (perdón si los decepcioné), la verdad es que no he tenido tiempo de preparar mucha información ni de producir demasiado mis looks, es por eso que les he mostrado un poco de mis días en la ciudad y las imágenes que cautivan mi mente. De hecho después de largas caminatas con cámara en mano tengo millones de imágenes que mostrarles.

Este outfit es de lo más simple, lo único que quería era estar cómoda, aún no me acostumbro a usar tanta ropa, así que solo pensé en este match de colores que me encanta.

No hay nada mejor visitar los lugares favoritos de la ciudad en compañia de la gente que quieres. A pesar de que Mili y Nadia estuvieron muy pocos días traté de hacerles un tiempito para que conozcan el verdadero New York los clásicos coffee shops, rests y bares en East Village, West Village y el Meat Packing District.
Claro está que también hicimos el típico recorrido turistico de Times Square, Estatua de la Libertad, Battery Park, MET, Moma y por supueso COMPRAS. Como se imaginarán fueron unos días muy divertidos hablando sin parar, riendo a morir y comiendo todo lo que pasaba frente a nuestros ojos.
Definitivamente momentos y frases memorables que harán historia.

We visited many places, took millions of pictures, chatted a lot, laugh as never and shopped in all the stores we saw. I wore this autumn outfit the day Mili arrived; perhaps the day we visited more places, so I wanted feel comfy and warm.

La semana pasada fue muy divertida, pues no hay nada mejor que ser visitada por amigas tan queridas como Mili (Style in Lima) y Nadia (Lamodadicta). Como se imaginarán recorrimos la ciudad de punta a punta sin parar un segundo, visitando emblemáticos lugares de la ciudad, tomando fotos, charlando sin parar, riendo hasta morir y comprando en cuanta tienda se nos paso por delante. Se imaginan 3 fashion bloggers sueltas en NYC?
Estas fotos las tomamos el día que llegó Mili, creo que fue el día que más caminamos, así que tenía que estar cómoda y abrigada.
