After a long weekend I begin the new week full of energy. Although, I didn’t plan anything special for these days I ended up in unexpected trip to Catskill Mountains; obviously, I’ll show you pictures in the next post.  I should admit that today’s pictures make me miss Easter in Peru, the one that smells to summer and full of beach activities. I wanna be at the beach right now!

Luego del fin de semana largo inicio la semana llena de energía, si bien pasé gran parte del finde en la ciudad salio un viaje rapidito a ultimo minuto y terminé en Catskill una zona de montañas hermosa cerca de NYC, obvio tengo fotos para mostrarles en mi próximo post. Debo admitir que las fotos de hoy me hacen extrañar la Semana Santa con olor a verano actividades playeras. Quiero playaaaaa!!!

If you realize I don’t usually mix so many trends in one outfit, but this time everything begun when I wanted to wear this skirt made by my seamstress, then it was almost by default, I just thought on complementary colors and these pieces came to my mind and voila! It was done!

Me imagino que estará pensando… “Dorado, lentejuelas, denim, tachitas y puas?  A esta chica se le ocurrió ponerse todo lo que encontró en el closet!” En realidad todo empezó porque quería hacer un outfit con esa falda recién llegada del taller de mi costurera, luego vinieron a mi esas piezas que se complementan por color y casi sin pensarlo ya lo tenía listo. Normalmente no junto tantas tendencias pero me encantó tomar el riesgo. Ustedes que tan lejos mezclando tendencias?

Ese vestido dorado lo en entré de manera inesperada, no lo buscaba pero cuando lo vi, súper que no podía dejar de tenerlo. Además de adorar el color, es una pieza súper versátil para el día o la noche, solo cambiar los accesorios y voila!

This shoot was one of my last days in Lima, fortunately NYC is getting warmer each day and each day people are wearing more color and fun stuff. I could perfectly wear this outfit today and add a blazer at night ivory or yellow at night.

Este shoot es uno de los que hice en un día maratónico cruzando Lima de punta, creo que no encontramos mejor locación que esta carretera al lado del mar que se integra perfectamente con los colores del outfit. Afortunadamente, el clima NYC se pone más rico cada día y la ciudad se va llenando de color con la llegada de la primavera. Así que tranquilamente podía usar este outfit en el día con un blazer ivory o amarillo en la noche.

As I told you yesterday night here, today I put together a Sequin Aztec outfit. When I bought this dress I thought this was just a micro trend. Wrong thought, I didn’t imagine that one year later many brands re-made their own versions of this awesome pattern. I didn’t wear it just as a dress,  that is why I put it together with a leather pant I love.
Fortunately, weather is getting warmer each day, so I will show you some outfits I wore lately.

Como les dije anoche aquí, hoy mi outfit es de estampado Azteca, cuando compré ese vestido pensé que la tendencia moriría el verano que ya pasó, sin imaginar que un año después tantas marcas sacarían su propia versión. Hoy, le di un poco de vuelta al vestido uniéndolo con este pantalón de cuero que adoro.
Afortunadamente, el clima por aca ya esta calentando un poco, así que pronto les mostraré algunos outfits que he usado últimamente.

Finally set up in NYC and my bad karma with Internet is over.
Seeing these pictures makes me think how fast goes time. Today I am here, writing in front of the river in a beautiful sunny day and 2 weeks ago I was crazy crossing Lima from east to west looking for locations with my team (Yael & Diego) to my last photo shooting there. It was a hard day, but it’s worth it, I feel really proud of seeing these results. About the outfit I just can say it is inspired just in mix of colors I love.
I am back and reloaded. So stay tuned!

Finalmente instalada en NYC, así que desde hoy no dejarán de verme!
Al ver estas fotos se me hace increíble pensar que hace exactamente un par de semanas estaba haciendo un recorrido maratónico cruzando Lima de punta a punta buscando locaciones para hacer mi última sesión de fotos en la ciudad. Un full day acompañada de mis ami-cómplices Yael Rojas y Diego Reaño, terminamos muertos pero luego de ver los resultados estoy más que feliz, pues valió la pena todo el sacrificio y hasta ser platillo de los mosquitos. Este outfit fue uno de mis favoritos en el otoño de NY, cuando enfriaba un poco lo usaba con pantys y si hacia calor me sacaba la camisa. Perfecto para el cambio de temporada.
Esten atentos que ahora vengo recargada y con algunas sorpresitas!

I know… It has been so much time absent, I just arrived t NYC a week ago and it was a crazy week. But I come back reloaded with many stuff to show you. Just stay tuned!
I was thinking I’ve never showed anything intimate, so I decide to make this shoot from the window of my room, the stage of my best memories. Coincidently, after this shooting I had a good bye party there with my BFF and we ended up remembering everything we have lived there, parties, BBQ, many shootings and just moonlight chats.

Volví a hacerlo, deje de postear nuevamente, en verdad lo siento. Pero nuevamente estoy cambiando de escenario, hace una semana volví a NYC y recién me he podido sentar a escribir como se debe. He tenido unos días muy acelerados en Lima y ahora en NY pero siempre recolectando material para mostrarles. Así que hoy vuelvo recargada y con un regalito que les mostraré más tarde.
Hace unos días pensé que nunca les he mostrado nada personal, así que decidí hacer estas fotos desde mi más intimo lugar, la ventana de mi cuarto, el escenario de miles de vivencias, y precisamente luego de hacer esas fotos termine reunida en ese mismo escenario con mis queridas amigas recordando todo lo que vivimos, ahí, reuniones, parrillitas, sesiones de fotos para los blogs o simplemente conversaciones eternas a la luz de la luna.

There are some times we want to wear only one color, that have happened me with yellow in NYC and with gold lately in Lima. This week I got madly in love with yellow again and today I decided to put together this colour blocking outfit where yellow meets, blue and red.
Did you try this mix of colors?

No les ha pasado que a veces se quedan enamoradas de un color y cuando se dan cuenta lo han usado miles de veces? A mi me  pasó eso con el amarillo en NYC y luego con el dorado en Lima., he usado esos colores de muchas maneras aprovechando mis prendas clave al máximo. Hoy decidí desempolvar mi adorado blazer amarillo para hacer un color blocking uniendo amarillo, azul y rojo.
Yo adoro este mix de colores, Ustedes ya lo probaron?

This one was one of my favorite photo shootings, the first one at night and with a special guest and fashion lover, my friend Diego Reaño. The photo shoot turned into a fun night where we talked about crazy ideas I ended up doing. I hope you like the picts as much as I do!

Esta es una de mis sesiones favoritas, pues fue muy diferente a los que he estado haciendo últimamente.  Para empezar eran mis primeras fotos nocturnas y no pudimos conseguir mejor aliado que Diego Reaño (amigo, fashion lover y seguidor de Avenura chic).  Fue muy gracioso ver como la sesión paso a ser un momento divertido entre risas e ideas locas que Yael y Diego iban soltando, un poco más y me paran de cabeza y yo bien obediente haciendo lo que me decian… “corre, salta, no te muevas…” En este caso yo casi, casi parando las combis!
