After some months waiting for Zara opening in Lima, it finally was three days ago. Luckily, I was in the first group that visited the store guided by Zara representatives (9:30 am), experience that allowed me know the brand philosophy and confirm this store will have last collections the brand has in stores abroad. I am so glad we finally got this store in Peru because we wont have to wait to buy stuff we see online any more.

Han pasado tres días desde la apertura de Zara en el Jockey Plaza y los amantes de Zara no dejamos de hablar del tema. Afortunadamente el jueves estuve en el primer grupo que entro a la tienda para hacer el recorrido guiado por los representantes de la marca, experiencia reconfortante pues nos permitió conocer la filosofía de la marca y confirmar que tendremos las últimas colecciones que se ven en Zara de otros países. Ahora no tendremos que esperar para adquirir tendencias que vemos en línea pues en la tienda del Jockey las encontraremos. Con decirles que vi varias prendas que vi en las tiendas de New York y hasta la falda dorada que tenía puesta ese día.

Last Saturday I went to Lima colonial downtown to a photoshoot. As everybody I have always admired the beautiful architecture, but I have to admit I didn’t imagine I ended up getting such awesome pictures you will see today. About the outfit I just can say I put together basic pieces to outstand these stunning Ikat shoes you have seen before.

El sábado pasado fui a hacer un photoshooting a nuestro hermoso centro histórico de Lima, y si bien siempre admiré su maravillosa arquitectura no imaginé las locaciones que Yael tendría bajo la manga. Es muy gracioso pensar en las anécdotas de ese día, miradas de curiosos y hasta fotos con celulares me tomaron, que verguenza! Adoré el recorrido y mucho más los resultados de las fotos que veran hoy. Para hacer este outfit solo pensé en colores sin recurrir ni a texturas ni estampados, pues todo el trabajo adicional se lo di mis ya conocidos zapaos Ikat.

The weather has been crazy lately but we should be thankful for the beautiful sunset we have each single day. I took the advantage to put together a golden outfit and feel myself part of the awesome phenomenon. I don’t know if you remember but I am madly in love with this magic and sparkle color. It is a fact, you’ll see more than once me wearing sparkle outfits this season.
I just love all the picts! Thanks to Yael Rojas for giving me the best of you during the photo shooting.

Si bien el clima esta enloquecido debemos darle gracias a la madre naturaleza que nos está regalando unos maravillosos Sunsets los últimos días, como se imaginaran no desperdicié la oportunidad para vestirme de dorado y alucinarme parte del maravilloso fenómeno. No se ustedes pero yo esto obsesionada con este mágico color. Es un hecho que me verán más de una vez brillando por la ciudad.

2011 is almost over but I didn’t want let it go without tell wish you all Happy New Year! I hope it comes full of happiness, love, health and succeed to you all.
This year was memorable for me because I have closed the longest stage of my life and the New Year means a new beginning. Thanks 2011 for everything you gave me, I knew awesome people, I keep the best friends ever and a lovely little person comes to my family. I couldn’t be more thankful.

Casi termina el 2011 pero no quería dejarlo ir sin antes desearles un Feliz 2012. Espero que venga cargado de felicidad, amor, salud y éxitos para todos.
Para mi el 2011 es un año memorable, pues cerré el capítulo mas largo de mi vida y este cambio de año es un nuevo comienzo. Gracias 2011 por todo lo que me diste, pues conocí a gente maravillosa, sigo teniendo a los amigos increíbles de siempre y llego a mi familia una la personita que nos cambió las vidas.
